Taste the Rainbow. No, I am not referring to Skittles. June is Pride month, and “taste the rainbow” is a common phrase I hear as I am walking into stores, attending local Pride events or traveling to different cities to celebrate Pride, but what does that really mean? 

June is many people’s favorite time of the year. It’s summer, the sun is out, the days are longer and people are eager to experience the outdoors. It’s also a time of celebration across the U.S. for LGBTQ+ communities and allies. It’s a celebration of freedom, speech, expression and pride in who they are. Happy Pride!
