The DMAI Annual Convention in Orlando, Florida, is almost here, and there's still time to register for this year's Global All-Stars Marketing Institute taking place on Monday, July 15.

Global All-Stars attendees will be the first to see results from exciting new research: Erin Francis-Cummings of Destination Analysts will present original, never-before-seen research on the International Visiting Friends & Relatives (VFR) market in the U.S. This research looks at the impact and influence of visiting friends and family on the $150-billion international travel market and how DMOs can leverage their locals to drive global tourism.

Aaron Babbie of Sparkloft Media will then join Chris Adams of Miles to present the results of an international benchmarking program for DMOs. The website and social media performance of more than 60 DMOs from four countries are compared to identify major trends in DMO marketing and "star" performers.

In addition to unveiling the results from this ground-breaking research, Global All-Stars will feature keynote speaker Mel Asbury discussing key marketing strategies that major organizations are using to market and promote their businesses in today’s cross cultural global marketplace – and share ways that DMOs can implement these same tactics to great success. Another highlight of the Global All-Stars session is an interactive panel discussion focused on ways to convert local destinations into global marketing all-stars. Don't miss your chance to stay ahead of new marketing trends and reserve your seat now.

Stay tuned for more details.
