The State of the American Traveler is one of the largest studies of US leisure travelers. Conducted by leading research company Destination Analysts, Miles has been the major sponsor of the study since its inception more than nine years ago. The research is conducted every six months, has a sample size of more than 2,000 and focuses specifically on US adults who have traveled at least 50 miles for leisure purposes in the past 12 months.
