Taking the Phone out of Smartphones

We love our smartphones, but apparently not for talking. According to a report from U.K. mobile network O2, talking is only the fifth most popular activity on a smartphone.

Users are spending more than two hours each day actively using their device. However, only 12 minutes of that time is actually spent talking on the phone. Most of our time is spent surfing the web:
