Dylan's work at Odyssey focuses on the intersection of storytelling, production, audience development. As co-founder and creative director of AtlasObscura.com, Dylan grew the company into an international travel brand. Co-author of three New York Times bestselling books and creator of the number one travel podcast in the US, Dylan is also a big nerd and dad of two based in the Hudson Valley.

Favorite Travel Memory

I loved visiting the Queshuachaca, also known as the Last Incan Bridge, a rope bride re-woven from grass every year since the Incan empire. Both a cultural and engineering marvel! 

As a graphic designer for the new-business-development team, Laurie solves the puzzle of pairing content with imagery to create effective proposals and also assists with various marketing projects. Laurie's free time is filled with family, friends, good food, reading and travel.

Favorite Travel Memory

My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary with a two-week trip to Italy and Switzerland. Historic sites, cultural experiences and navigating planes, trains and unfamiliar places without killing each other was exhilarating. Can't wait for the next trip!

Adam is part of the Odyssey Studios team, and is responsible for curating and cataloging the team's video and photographic assets to increase ROI for clients. Adam is a bookworm and video gamer who enjoys getting lost on backroads while finding new places and painting with his wife and their children.

Favorite Travel Memory

My favorite travel memory is when I traveled to Springfield, Ohio, for a family gathering. My wife was able to book an Airbnb stay in the home she lived in as a teenager, which she always loved but had never been able to say goodbye to as it was sold while she was away. Listening to the owner ask her about how she and her family installed features was just fantastic.

Jaime leads the ad operations team, which handles clients’ digital-campaign tracking, making it possible to provide insights and strategic direction for future campaigns. When she is not trafficking VISIT FLORIDA campaigns or perfecting ad-ops processes, you might find her outside with her Samoyed Jovie or fishing and kayaking down in the Florida Keys.

Favorite Travel Memory

I went to Italy in 2014 with my mom and grandma (three generations!) We explored Milan, Venice, Florence, Siena, Tuscany, Rome, Pisa and Cinque Terre. The coast is beautiful, and we also loved getting lost in Venice and stumbling upon places we would have never seen otherwise.

A journalist by trade, Steven traded the newsroom for a much more enjoyable assignment as a food writer and travel editor. (Yeah, he gets paid to eat.) As a senior content director, Steven now cooks up effective, innovative and integrated content strategies for a host of destination clients, including Puerto Rico, Louisiana, New Orleans and Fairfax County, Virginia.

There are so many! But gathering for a multi-country family reunion at a five-star farm-restaurant high atop the mountains in Slovenia is way up there. The food. The views. The connections. The memories. Priceless!

Carrie is a curiosity-fueled content director based in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley. After hours, you’ll find her researching history projects, hoarding obscure hot sauces, attending film festivals and tennis tournaments, or dreaming up her next trip.

I stayed at a small inn on a sheep farm in the Scottish highlands that sat at the convergence of two lochs. On the long road in was a cemetery that housed the grave of Rob Roy. The cozy scotch bar had just two seats. A quintessential Scottish experience.

As an associate media planner, Katie geeks out on creating the perfect plan to bring a campaign to life. In her off time, you'll find Katie outdoors exploring new places, hunting down her new favorite antique piece, or spending time with her family and three dogs, Jax, Finn and Marlow.

A Denver-based account director who has been at Miles since 2019, Ben thrives at solving complex problems and has a knack for providing practical solutions while maintaining an upbeat attitude. He fills his spare time fly fishing, skiing, going to concerts and spending time with his fiancé and two Australian shepherds, Bindi and Woodford.

As an avid fly fisherman, trips to the backwaters of Florida, winding rivers of Montana or camping trips to freestone rivers in Colorado are always top of mind.

Elodie is a seasoned Account Director with a global footprint. Her professional journey, spanning from France to Germany, China, Thailand, and Silicon Valley—has forged an unparalleled outlook on Business Operations and Marketing. Outside of work, she relishes traveling with her family. A true foodie at heart, she delights in exploring diverse cuisines. Additionally, she's a devoted meditation enthusiast, finding solace and balance in the practice.

Carrie ensures that clients' big-picture visions are defined and delivered, building collaborative client relationships, as well as working with the Miles team to concept and produce innovative marketing solutions. Outside of Miles, Carrie keeps up with her two little boys, Mac and Jay, on the ski slopes or hiking trails in Winter Park and planning her next vacation.

Every summer my family visited a small beach town in southwest Michigan near my grandparents' house. Now I cherish the opportunity to reunite with my siblings there year after year and see my kids enjoy the same experience.

A performance coordinator on the hospitality team, Jessica manages and optimizes paid social, paid search and programmatic campaigns to align with client goals. She is continually educating herself on the ever-changing marketing landscape through the digital-marketing masters program at Wake Forest University.

I took an amazing trip to Costa Rica. Surfing, riding ATVs and deep-sea fishing were the highlights of the unforgettable adventure.

Caitlin capitalizes on her years living in and producing content for travel destinations while working for Miles’ DMO content team. When she’s not content wrangling at her day job, you’ll find her exploring her adopted home state by skis, foot and car, preferably with her dog Odessa.

Taking my first flight to Sanibel Island, FL with my grandmother.

Hallie specializes in print layout design and loves taking on any "odd jobs" that get her dabbling in branding and logo work. When away from the design world she's likely lost in a book, at the dog park with her pit bull Winston, or hiking/camping Colorado mountains.

Walking cobblestone streets to the art studio on an early morning, watching the small island-town come to life along the calm Aegean Sea; Spending my morning(s) painting in Greece.

Katie is a lifelong storyteller who uses her writing skills to develop proposals and other content that showcases the beauty of travel. When she's not writing, you can find Katie painting, diving deep into Atlanta's food scene and spending quality time with her husband and dog, Margot.

Last fall, I visited Halifax, Nova Scotia for the first time. My husband and I took a food tour, sampling everything the city had to offer while the leaves fell around us. It was an absolutely perfect day.

Justin is the director of strategy and insights at Miles, ensuring that website activity is being properly measured, while also working to improve their presence in search engines. When he's not working, he can usually be found working on home improvement projects, snowmobiling, gardening, beekeeping, playing with his dog Miles, playing hockey, and terrorizing the neighbors on his 49cc scooter - usually not all at once.

Lori is a paid search analyst on the hospitality team. She specializes in building and managing data-driven, results-focused paid search campaigns that deliver measurable success. Outside of work, Lori is deeply committed to animal rescue and usually has at least one foster dog or cat bringing joy (and sometimes chaos) to her home. She also loves to travel and explore all the beautiful sights the Pacific Northwest has to offer with her two dogs, Ripley and Lita.

Najauna plays a central role at Miles, developing targeted, experiential marketing strategies that resonate with the right audiences for significant impact. She leads initiatives focused on learning and development, strategic partnerships and community engagement, cultivating a welcoming and collaborative internal culture. This approach enables her team to deeply understand our clients’ needs, enhancing our ability to craft compelling storytelling and achieve their goals. Favorite Travel Memory

On the walk to try paella for the first time in Barcelona, we experienced a music light show, a food-truck festival, and a street art and dance show. I was so immersed in the happenings that I stopped to dance, drink, take tons of photos and ALMOST forgot how hungry I was. The first bite of paella and the restaurant's hospitality made every bit of the trek worth it.

The partner-programs operations manager on the Brand USA team, Miranda works to scale and streamline processes. When she isn't online, she’s probably snowboarding, traveling for a concert or hanging out with her dogs, Stevie and Charlotte. She is also an enamel-pin collector and always open to a trade.

When I was 14, my family traveled to Italy and we met my brother's "Italian family" from his exchange year. One evening, despite the language barrier, his Italian sister and I danced ballet together on the roof of our villa under the stars, sharing the universal language of dance.

Samantha brings 9 years of experience in destination marketing to Miles. When she isn’t busy supporting the Alaska and Madrid accounts, you'll find her on hiking adventures with her two dogs, Parmesan and Nelly, tending to dozens of houseplants, or paddleboarding on one of the 10,000-plus lakes in her home state of Minnesota.

My favorite travel memory is learning how to whitewater kayak on the Yellowstone River in Gardiner, Montana. The power of the water is exhilarating — there is nothing quite like being at the mercy of the river, staying focused and using your own strength to float down nature’s roller coaster.

Emilie was a founding member of Miles' first video team, producing content for VISIT FLORIDA. Hundreds of videos and thousands of miles later, she's since dreamed up videos for many more destinations, including San Francisco, Louisiana and Maryland. She's never bored and can be found enjoying life at home with her husband and daughter in Maine.

I was a 16-year-old on spring break in Giverny, France — and like most, completely directionless. College was in my future, but then what? While filling up at least two rolls of film capturing their famous garden in its spring splendor, it dawned on me: Wouldn't this be a glorious life? Eight years later the opportunity came calling and the rest is history.

Melissa is an art director and visitor-guide master who works with her team to develop and execute print and digital creative assets. She is a Wisconsin native who, when not shoveling snow, can be found trying out new recipes with her husband, crafting the last thing she saw on Pinterest or spending time on the water at her cabin on the lake.

One of my favorite travel memories was catching freshly made hot rolls in mid-air during dinner at Lambert's Cafe in Ozark, Missouri, with my husband and his family. We all laughed out loud as the waitstaff yelled "hot rools!" and then a bun would fly through the air over our heads into an open hand!

Krystal is a project manager who works with a variety of clients on everything from website and to creative and media needs and visitor guides. When she isn't working on travel-related projects, you can find her hitting the road (or air) for new adventures with her husband, three kids and adorable minpin.

Favorite Travel Memory

I spent two months road tripping with my family from Texas to Washington, hitting all of the national and state parks we could along the way. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Kelly handles all aspects of print procurement and circulation management, as it relates to all print projects for the company. Outside of work you will find Kelly off visit Family spread out all over the US and Ireland always including a visit to the local art museum.

Favorite Travel Memory

A shared taxi ride from Dublin to Belfast gave me an opportunity hear from the taxi driver and a local woman sharing their perspectives on the Northern Irish troubles. She shared a song and the story of the American Choctaw Indians helping the Irish, which I did not know.

Meghan has spent more than half her life with Miles (she must have started when she was 12!), working on the creative side and then diving into database application and integration. She leads our software-development programs and facilitates our email-marketing programs. Offline, Meghan enjoys anything island-y and relaxing.

Favorite Travel Memory

Too many to choose from, but a particular childhood favorite is my family (mom, dad, sister and me) from Cleveland randomly bumping into my aunt, uncle and cousins from Connecticut in Kitty Hawk, NC. We got to see the sights and spend some quality cousin time!

Rebekah manages SEO sorcery and/or word nerdiness for Colorado, Capital Region USA, Maryland and Greeley. When her head's not buried in a website or print guide, it's wearing a hat for running trail races in which she will undoubtedly scrape a knee and meet a medic.

Favorite Travel Memory

It's a three-way tie between getting scoped by a shark while paddleboarding in Florida, hiking a questionable ledge to see puffins in Iceland and patting elephants on Singapore Zoo's Night Safari. Probably the elephants win because patting was involved.

Alex is part of Odyssey Studios, primarily working on edits for various projects, but on occasion he's seen helping out on a shoot. Alex is an avid Tampa sports fan (Go Bucs, Bolts and Rays!), but oftentimes he's chasing down his two sons and trying to catch up on "Star Wars" shows with his wife, who is also named Alex — which is fun!

Favorite Travel Memory

We took my first-born son to Key West when he was not quite one, which some might think would make for a rough time, but it was his first real vacation and it was absolutely wonderful. He had a blast, and every time we go again he gets so amped for the trip.
