Teaming Up for Success

Using his operational, account and technology expertise, David leads the information technology team. Since 2016, he has been traveling the U.S. as a digital nomad with his wife, a travel nurse, and a rescue dog named Dallas in an RV. Their quest is to visit all 63 national parks.

Favorite Travel Memory

One of my favorite memories is hiking to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park and looking over the edge to the Yosemite Valley.

Annika is a member of our SEM/Social Team, working with various clients to enhance their organic social media content. Originally from Upstate New York, she now calls Denver, CO her home. In her free time, Annika enjoys skiing, running, mountain biking, backpacking and attending numerous concerts. She loves adventuring with friends and exploring new restaurants in town, always capturing her experiences through her photography.

Favorite Travel Memory

I spent my entire junior year of college abroad, studying in Bangkok, Thailand during the fall, and in Lyon, France in the spring. I loved every second of it! However, my favorite adventure was visiting the remote province of Ha Giang in Northern Vietnam. The mountainous terrain was breathtaking, and it was so much fun to connect with the locals at the homestays in the villages we passed through.

Colombia-born and raised, Pablo’s journey transitioned from fine art to design, driven by its transformative potential, unifying influence and guiding essence. On the Brand USA team, he applies these convictions to multiplatform products that spotlight the U.S. worldwide. Outside work, he is either hiking trails or chasing winter on a snowboard along with his wife and son.

Favorite Travel Memory

A trip to Glacier National Park in Montana during early spring became my catalyst for embracing outdoor adventures and cold weather as a lifestyle. The sight of melting snowcaps nourishing swift-flowing rivers and the reawakening wildlife left a lasting impression of our interdependence on this planet.

Stephanie is a member of the destination optimization team, where she mostly gathers and analyzes data to help local businesses, as well as other tasks involving spreadsheets or the occasional VBA macro. Outside of work, she enjoys tabletop RPGs, indie video games, sewing and piano.

I spent an entire day walking around Stanley Park in Vancouver. It was magical to know that we were in a major city but still felt like we were in the middle of deep woods.

Sebrina specializes in creating customized packages and sharing the many benefits of advertising with the DMO of the Windy City, Choose Chicago. You can usually find her enjoying time with her husband, daughter, son and two Icelandic sheepdogs, or exploring new restaurants and traveling to any place with warmer winters than Chicago.

Taking my daughter to Cancun for a girls trip before she headed off to college.

A member of the email marketing team, Holly uses her passion for learning and creativity to help craft thoughtful and engaging emails. Holly is based out of Denver, and you can usually find her riding her bike, reading or walking her dog, Bella, with her husband.

While in Ireland, Garth Brooks came to play five nights in Dublin and everyone asked if we were there to see him. We weren't, but every pub was playing country music and selling Irish tricolor cowboy hats; it felt like we were back home. 

Sarah, a member of the Business Analyst team, resides and works amidst the Colorado mountains with her husband. An adoring mother to her two adult children in Denver, she finds joy in river rafting, skiing and exploring international destinations.

This past fall, my husband and I traveled to Munich, Germany for Oktoberfest. We dressed the part in lederhosen and dirndl and had the time of our lives!

A native Kentuckian serving as the senior media planner for our Kentucky client, Melissa uses research, promotional skills, strong negotiation tactics and industry connections to deliver successful media campaigns. When looking to travel, you will likely find Melissa putting her planning skills to work creating itineraries for her husband, daughter and French bulldog, Bea.

I could pick a favorite memory from every single trip I have ever taken. To me, travel fills my soul with memories and personal connections created from new surroundings, unique adventures and incredible experiences.

Liz oversees a group of accounts, making sure we achieve strong results. Off the clock, you can find her enjoying a Cardinals game in her hometown of St. Louis, shuttling her son to his sporting events or spending time with her dog Diego.

Taking my son to stay in a treehouse in the El Yunque rainforest in Puerto Rico.

Abby is part of our DMO sales team and handles the monetization efforts for our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey clients. When she's not reporting out her clients' successful campaigns, she can be found enjoying the summer season down the shore with friends and family.

Favorite Travel Memory

My very first trip to Europe was to Barcelona and Madrid. I fell in love with the Gaudi architecture and have many fond memories of late-night clubs and partying. That trip launched my love for travel. I also have fond memories of a mother-daughter trip to London, dragging my mom everywhere on the Tube.

Paul is a driving force at Miles in successful product launches, advertising revenue-generation programs and creative solutions for DMOs. He is currently developing integrated travel industry co-op programs for Brand USA, and when he is not luring international visitors to the U.S., he is spending time in the great outdoors.

Favorite Travel Memory

I have so many fantastic travel memories, but one of my favorites was a family vacation in Croatia bareboat sailing throughout the Dalmatian Islands. Sailing is nirvana for me and when you add in my favorite people, perfect sailing conditions, incredible scenery, great food and wine, it doesn't get any better. 

As part of the Brand USA team, Angie thrives on strategizing and creating engaging international marketing plans for partners in the Southeast region. When she’s not traveling, she’s outside gardening, working on a home-improvement project, hiking in the Pacific Northwest or enjoying live music. She cohabitates with her two lovely cats, Barry and Nelly, outside of Seattle.

Favorite Travel Memory

In the Dutch countryside, we visited a dairy farm famous for its Gouda. We met the farmer, cows and the cheesemakers, who demonstrated the process from fresh milk to the final product. We also toured iconic windmills. Going inside a working windmill, it was super interesting to observe the mechanics, living quarters, and how they control the flooding and waterways.

Julia's work focuses on client satisfaction and bringing their vision to life, while balancing the priorities of internal teams. When she's not making things happen for clients, she can be found enjoying 300 days of sunshine in Tucson.

Traveling to Maui was absolutely amazing and is one of my favorite places to vacation.

Embarking on a Croatian adventure with my besties was pure magic. From Dubrovnik's ancient charm to Split's lively streets, and the island gems in between — we laughed, wandered and created memories to last a lifetime.

When she's not in the office, she spends most of her time cheering on her daughter out on a soccer field somewhere around the country.

As a content manager in the hospitality division, Courtney's mind is always whirring with catch phrases, social captions and SEO keywords. If you can't find her, she's likely adding to her vocabulary with her nose in a book, chasing a ball around a soccer field or embarking on a high-altitude adventure in the Montana mountains.

Laura is a senior content director who has developed everything from state visitor guides to brand voice guidelines. She is passionate about establishing best practices for inclusive content strategy. In her free time, this Austinite can be found kayaking, hiking and birding.

When she is not figuring out the next production strategy, you will likely find her enjoying travel, yoga and all Michigan has to offer with her husband and her two rescue dogs, Red and Sultan.

My favorite travel memory is filming a series in Qatar and getting to sleep under the stars in the desert with a Bedouin tribe.

Rebekah manages SEO sorcery and/or word nerdiness for Colorado, Capital Region USA, Maryland and Greeley. When her head's not buried in a website or print guide, it's wearing a hat for running trail races in which she will undoubtedly scrape a knee and meet a medic.

Favorite Travel Memory

It's a three-way tie between getting scoped by a shark while paddleboarding in Florida, hiking a questionable ledge to see puffins in Iceland and patting elephants on Singapore Zoo's Night Safari. Probably the elephants win because patting was involved.

Jeff has been in our IT department for nearly 30 years. When he's not putting out fires or searching for the next useful tools, he can be found running and biking around town or paddleboarding in the mangroves.

After a day of hiking in Custer State Park in South Dakota, we rushed out to Wildlife Loop Road in hopes of seeing some bison before sunset. We were not disappointed! A million bison crossed the road right in front of our van.

In managing Brand USA and VISIT FLORIDA (Vacation Guide) across the entire state, I apply a marketing/customer service approach with partners to drive revenue for the client and for Miles, while positively affecting destination awareness and visitation. An avid college sports fan, you can hear Irish swear quite a bit when discussing his alma mater, the University of Florida.
