If you want to find him outside of work, he's probably playing board games, cooking up recipes or riding his bike somewhere around the DC area.

Favorite Travel Memory

I recently took my first-ever solo trip to Switzerland, France and the Netherlands. Exploring and being more spontaneous than usual was a highlight (not to mention the Dutch tulip fields!)

Alex is part of Odyssey Studios, primarily working on edits for various projects, but on occasion he's seen helping out on a shoot. Alex is an avid Tampa sports fan (Go Bucs, Bolts and Rays!), but oftentimes he's chasing down his two sons and trying to catch up on "Star Wars" shows with his wife, who is also named Alex — which is fun!

Favorite Travel Memory

We took my first-born son to Key West when he was not quite one, which some might think would make for a rough time, but it was his first real vacation and it was absolutely wonderful. He had a blast, and every time we go again he gets so amped for the trip.

Nicole's past experience in destination and tourism makes her a great fit as our Associate Media Planner. When she's not strategizing plans, she can be found at her local Pilates studio or with her husband and their cat, Poe.

Favorite Travel Memory

My favorite travel memory is visiting Paris with my family. I'll never forget walking through the underground catacombs and seeing the Eiffel Tower light up at night!

As an email marketing specialist, Larisa loves coffee-fueled creativity and crafting campaigns that connect. Born in Romania and now based in sunny Florida, she brings over five years of digital marketing experience to the team. When she's not working on a new campaign, you’ll find her planning her next Europe trip, chasing around her playful toy poodle pup, Adonis or enjoying life’s little adventures with her soon-to-be husband.

My favorite travel memory will always be Santorini, Greece. Not just for its breathtaking sunsets, whitewashed buildings and endless blue sea, but because it’s where my fiancé proposed. Overlooking the caldera as the sky turned shades of pink and gold, it felt like time stood still. That trip will forever be special to me.

Sarah, a member of the Business Analyst team, resides and works amidst the Colorado mountains with her husband. An adoring mother to her two adult children in Denver, she finds joy in river rafting, skiing and exploring international destinations.

This past fall, my husband and I traveled to Munich, Germany for Oktoberfest. We dressed the part in lederhosen and dirndl and had the time of our lives!

As a member of the destination optimization team, Caitlin helps DMOs directly support their local businesses. She is also a Master Naturalist in her home state of Louisiana, often exploring the outdoors and working on nature-education programs. If you catch her staring out the window, she is probably trying to identify a plant, bird or butterfly.

Hayley is an account supervisor working on web, print and media projects for amazing destinations like Chicago, Myrtle Beach, Destin-Fort Walton Beach, Ocala, Galveston and Waco. She enjoys playing soccer, event planning and cheering on the Oregon Ducks. She lives in Eugene and has her degree in marketing and advertising from Grand Canyon University.

Favorite Travel Memory

My sister and I went on a cruise once, and there was a mega pod of dolphins surrounding the ship — hundreds and hundreds of dolphins swimming alongside us for hours. It was a really incredible experience.

As an associate media planner, Katie geeks out on creating the perfect plan to bring a campaign to life. In her off time, you'll find Katie outdoors exploring new places, hunting down her new favorite antique piece, or spending time with her family and three dogs, Jax, Finn and Marlow.

Mitch has been a developer at Miles since 2008, coding and executing responsive emails in HTML/CSS for destination and hospitality clients. When Mitch isn’t building emails, he is spending time with his family.

Favorite Travel Memory

My favorite travel memory was being a nomad in New Zealand for almost 2 months.

With over 8 years of combined hospitality and marketing experience, Katy joins Miles as an Account Supervisor for the Experience Kissimmee team. Outside of work, you can always find Katy with a book (or two) in her hand, wringing every last dime out of her Universal annual pass, and counting down the days until the next Halloween Horror Nights event.

Favorite Travel Memory

I got the opportunity to study abroad in London, Paris, and Barcelona. One of the coolest things we got to do was have dinner in the Eiffel Tower and then go all the way to the top - it is something I will never forget, mostly because I'm terrified of heights.

As a media supervisor, tourism has been a mainstay in Ivy’s career since day one. With her extensive knowledge across offline and digital media, she puts together cohesive and effective media plans for her clients. When she's not doing media math, she can be found spending time with her family, reading a good book (fiction only please) or watching Formula 1.

Favorite Travel Memory

Our family's annual fall trip has quickly become one of my favorite of the year — getting to experience destinations with our daughter for the first time has been very special.

Chelsea is a member of the ad operations team who oversees a diverse client portfolio. Beyond campaign management, she's an avid baker, a Ted Lasso enthusiast, and enjoys beachside reading. In her free time, she's either chasing passport stamps, attending sporting events or on the hunt for the perfect cup of joe.

Ashlyn is part of our VISIT FLORIDA team. As a Jacksonville native, she loves to travel anywhere there is a beach. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, trying new restaurants or exploring the outdoors in south Georgia where she currently lives.

As an ad operations specialist, Taylor supports the ad operations team and our clients. She has been in the digital operations and media space for over six years. When Taylor is not working, you can find her outside enjoying beautiful New York City and making music (her favorite hobby).

Favorite Travel Memory

My favorite travel memory was when I took my first solo trip to Amsterdam. I fell in love with the city and have already been back twice. 

Lauren is our fearless director of marketing, responsible for the strategy and implementation of various corporate marketing initiatives, such as overseeing the Miles brand and managing industry events and partnerships. Outside of work, you'll find her unwinding at the beach or exploring local festivals and music events.

In 2024, Lauren was selected for Destinations International’s Young Professional Leadership Development Program, recognized alongside the association’s 30 Under 30 class.

Favorite Travel Memory

I’m an avid beach-goer, so traveling to Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, and experiencing the unique beaches on each part of the island was incredible.

Craig leads the web developers on the client web support team. With 15-plus years of experience in web development and 9-plus years at Miles, he takes coding challenges head on. You'll always find him traveling with his family, whether it's a staycation in Colorado or visiting extended family.

Luke is an account coordinator and works mainly with St. Pete/Clearwater. His attention to detail and ability to multitask helps the team deliver exceptional value to each client. Outside of work, he can be found throwing the ball for his dog Fisher, cooking spicy food or biking with his wife.

Favorite Travel Memory

A favorite travel memory is getting to travel to Germany with my dad in 2014. We were able to travel by train and visit Munich, Stuttgart, Berlin, Frankfurt and many other small towns. The highlight of the trip was getting to go to a football (soccer) match and experience the amazing atmosphere.

Emilie was a founding member of Miles' first video team, producing content for VISIT FLORIDA. Hundreds of videos and thousands of miles later, she's since dreamed up videos for many more destinations, including San Francisco, Louisiana and Maryland. She's never bored and can be found enjoying life at home with her husband and daughter in Maine.

Favorite Travel Memory

I was a 16-year-old on spring break in Giverny, France — and like most, completely directionless. College was in my future, but then what? While filling up at least two rolls of film capturing their famous garden in its spring splendor, it dawned on me: Wouldn't this be a glorious life? Eight years later the opportunity came calling and the rest is history.

Justin is the director of strategy and insights at Miles, ensuring that website activity is being properly measured, while also working to improve their presence in search engines. When he's not working, he can usually be found working on home improvement projects, snowmobiling, gardening, beekeeping, playing with his dog Miles, playing hockey, and terrorizing the neighbors on his 49cc scooter - usually not all at once.

Shiann is a part of our account services team, and she is passionate about travel and executes all sizes of projects for her clients. Outside of work, Shiann enjoys reading until all hours of the night, planning her next trip abroad and finding the best local coffee and food spots.

Favorite Travel Memory

Spending almost two weeks in Peru, hiking Rainbow Mountain, Machu Picchu, white water rafting, zip lining and spending time with new people and surrounding myself in the local culture.

Anna is a valued member of our Brand USA team who applies her strategic approach to support multiple teams. When she's not immersed in her work, you'll find her indulging at new restaurants, enjoying outdoor adventures and planning her next getaway with loved ones. She also whips up a mean Buffalo chicken dip, is a proud Southeastern Louisiana University alumna and adores her labradoodle, Perre-Gabe and orange cat, Phen.

Favorite Travel Memory

After graduating with our MBA, my best friend and I embarked on a 4.5-month backpacking trip through South America and Europe. We named our adventure Ancora Imparo, which means "Yet, I am learning" in Italian. We visited 20 countries. We explored Greece and Croatia, immersed ourselves in the history of Peru and Italy and experienced the cultures of Colombia and Spain. 

Scott is a web developer who brings the web to life through a wide range of front-end technologies and accessibility in mind. When he is not at the computer, he is out hiking and exploring. He lives in Southern California with his wife and two kids.

David is responsible for the systems and process used to create and host our digital products. When not deep in the digital realm, he spends time with his wife and two kids (whenever they are home from college!). He combines baseball and travel as much as possible — if he's in your city and there is baseball game happening, you'll definitely find him at the park!

Favorite Travel Memory

Walking through EPCOT at closing time — an almost empty park with just our family but still all lit up for Christmas. Magical!

Kiki is a seasoned professional based in the greater New Orleans area who's known for creating exceptionally effective ad campaigns for members of New Orleans and Company. She's a foodie and travel lover who enjoys exploring the city's vibrant restaurant scene, attending local festivals, and supporting the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers.

Favorite Travel Memory

My favorite travel memory is climbing up the steps in the rare snow at Blarney Castle to kiss the Blarney Stone. Before my grandmother, Anita Kelly Mannear, passed away, she said that her one regret in life was not kissing the stone while in Ireland. I was honored to kiss the stone on her behalf.

A journalist by trade, Steven traded the newsroom for a much more enjoyable assignment as a food writer and travel editor. (Yeah, he gets paid to eat.) As a senior content director, Steven now cooks up effective, innovative and integrated content strategies for a host of destination clients, including Puerto Rico, Louisiana, New Orleans and Fairfax County, Virginia.

There are so many! But gathering for a multi-country family reunion at a five-star farm-restaurant high atop the mountains in Slovenia is way up there. The food. The views. The connections. The memories. Priceless!

With nearly 20 years of experience building teams in the travel industry at both Tripadvisor and Sojern, Richard uses his skills and expertise to lead sales efforts for the DMO and Brand USA sales teams. Our family trip to Aruba. We spent seven incredible days connecting as a family, and it was one of those trips you never want to end. Every aspect of Aruba completely blew me away. 

Introducing Dennis, director of destination partnership development and your go-to for all things destination collaboration. Proudly based in Brooklyn, he spearheads remarkable campaigns for Destination DC. Dennis' passion for food takes him on flavorful journeys, whether he's exploring Maine's coastline or savoring European cuisines with his husband and kid. Their next stop? The exciting land of Japan.

At Acadia National Park in Maine, my 3-year-old daughter's energy and infectious spirit led us on a hike. Her enthusiasm was a force of nature itself, reminding my husband and me of the joy of the outdoors. At the summit, surrounded by stunning vistas, her curiosity intertwined with the beauty of nature etched a heartwarming memory of family and exploration.

Enriqueta is a dedicated project manager who works on a variety of projects from visitor guides to websites. In her free time, you can find her crafting, watching movies or playing with her dalmatian Ollie.

Having my first white Christmas in Knoxville in 2020: I made snow angels, threw snowballs, ate white snow and sledded down a hill!
