When a winter transportation strike in Paris forced us to explore on foot, we experienced the city’s character in an intimate way. Plus, it came with a hearty supply of streetside roasted chestnuts.

I was able to travel to Melbourne, Australia, to meet some of my husband's family and friends! It's such a beautiful country and I got to pet a koala; definitely worth the 19-hour flight.

My favorite travel memories are when we end up getting lost in a very unfamiliar places. They are always the most stressful times in traveling, but they make for great memories that have stood the test of time.

Last fall, I visited Halifax, Nova Scotia for the first time. My husband and I took a food tour, sampling everything the city had to offer while the leaves fell around us. It was an absolutely perfect day.

I have so many fantastic travel memories, but one of my favorites was a family vacation in Croatia bareboat sailing throughout the Dalmatian Islands. Sailing is nirvana for me and when you add in my favorite people, perfect sailing conditions, incredible scenery, great food and wine, it doesn't get any better.

My wife and I went to Europe for the first time — was the trip of a lifetime! We took a cruise around the Mediterranean to Spain, France and Italy. The food was phenomenal. We even got to explore my great-grandparents' hometown, Lucca, Italy. I cannot wait to go back.

I have a new favorite travel memory with every trip! One recent memorable experience was glamping overnight in the Sahara desert and then waking up to a sunrise camel ride into the dunes.

My favorite travel memories are from my childhood. My family vacationed at Black Butte Ranch Resort in Oregon every summer for as long as I can remember. It’s where I learned how to ride a bike and get lost in adventure with my siblings. Every time I smell a pine tree, those memories come flooding back.

Janet is a content strategist whose focus is on concepting and creating content for clients such as St. Pete/Clearwater, Virginia Beach, Fort Myers and Miami. Her favorite vacations are in wild places where you can hear the wind and the birds, and her hobbies in St. Pete include gardening (yardening?), singing in a community chorus and obsessing about paint colors.

Favorite Travel Memory

One of my favorite travel memories is hiking in the El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico with my husband Tim and our intrepid guide, Juan. At points, we were ankle-deep in red mud. But we also had a refreshing swim in a beautiful natural pool underneath a waterfall and ate fresh mangos off a banana leaf while perched on a rock.

A native New Mexican with a stereotypical love of green chile, Haley finally crossed the border for good into Colorado to make it her home. She has found a passion for business and billing, despite her background in biology. When she’s not sifting through vendor invoices, she can be found coaching dance for the local high school, hiking and mountain biking.

My absolute favorite memory is going to Ireland for my birthday in 2019 right before the last season of "Game of Thrones" came out. We went to filming sites for Winterfell and met a couple of the dire wolves used for the show.

When she is not juggling print tasks, this animal lover and cooking enthusiast can usually be found event or vacation planning, helping others, spending quality time with loved ones, or making memories with her husband, son, cat, and two dogs.

My favorite travel memory is anytime I explore this big world with my husband and son. Those adventures and experiences together being fully present are priceless.

She started as an Account Director, handling marketing within the western United States and has moved all the way up into a global role focused in the areas of Tourism and Hospitality for the last 6 years. Off hours, she’s planning her family’s next adventure traveling the world or at home cooking up some homemade pizza.

In 2024, Karin Mast was named one of HSMAI’s Top 25 Extraordinary Minds, recognizing her leadership in driving innovative, data-informed marketing strategies that deliver measurable impact for destinations and hospitality organizations.

Favorite Travel Memory

Every beach trip with my girls, building sandcastles, finding shell treasures, soaking in the sun and playing in the ocean waves. With both kids on each side holding tight while the waves come towards us, we jump together. Hearing them giggling is absolutely the best.

Maya is part of the paid media team in the hospitality division. She brings experience working with hospitality clients and is passionate about creating memorable experiences for both clients and their customers. Based in San Diego, California, Maya enjoys spending her free time at the beach, staying active outdoors and being with friends and family.

Favorite Travel Memory

My favorite travel memory is my experience studying abroad with a program called Semester at Sea. I was able to visit 10 countries in one semester, all while taking my college classes on a cruise ship alongside 500 other students from around the world.

Carson is a part of our SEM/social team where she works across many clients. A native Floridian, she loves spending time on the water and exploring the state's hidden gems. She is also an avid yogi and likes to bring her adorable miniature Bernedoodle named Winston around town.

Favorite Travel Memory

When I was 16, my dad and I went to Peru and hiked the Inca Trail. We spent three nights camping on the trail and ended our four4-day hike at the Sun Gate at Machu Picchu. It was the trip of a lifetime, not only to spend it with my dad, but to see such ancient ruins and history up close and personal.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys exploring the Colorado mountains with her two dogs, Juniper and Willow, diving into a good book and cross-stitching projects.
