I spent an entire day walking around Stanley Park in Vancouver. It was magical to know that we were in a major city but still felt like we were in the middle of deep woods.

As Miles’ associate media director, Christine oversees the media department’s strategy and planning. She works alongside destinations such as Maine, Alaska and Sarasota County. When Christine isn’t geeking-out on media trends and technology, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, lake adventures, traveling and cuddling with her dog JoJo.

Traveling to Kauai two years ago combined my love of the beaches and water with my love of the mountains and hiking — so much so that we're going back again!

Angela leads our team of experts to deliver top-performing digital products. When she’s not mentoring the team, digging into data and discovering what's next for clients, she’s an avid traveler with an unquenchable thirst for new experiences. She’s always on the go with an itinerary in hand, snapping photos, testing her palate and chatting up the locals.

Meet Felipe, a dynamic art director whose passions span horizons (literally). He crafts visual stories both professionally as a digital artist and through his photography side hustle. An explorer by nature, find him hiking Red Rocks and paddleboarding Bear Creek Lake on the weekends. Evenings? They're for unwinding with videogames, homemade food and a Gatorade.

My favorite travel memory has to be backpacking through Europe for a couple of months. This was my biggest solo trip, where I got to go through Spain, Germany, Italy, Austria and Italy. I met so many people and ate so much good food, but most importantly learned how big the world can be outside of the U.S.

Steve is a web developer with a knack for captivating animations. When he's not building sites, he's a seasoned symphony musician, and can be seen performing with orchestras across Colorado. Outside of work and music, Steve loves exploring breweries worldwide with his wife Jessica.

During my recent trip to Seattle, I stayed with a local friend who provided us an insider's tour of the city's vibrant food and beer scenes. Beyond that, he offered invaluable insights into the distinctive cultures of various neighborhoods, enriching our experience and truly leaving a lasting impact on our visit.

As a director of development services, August oversees the digital accessibility and quality assurance teams. He's extremely passionate about providing the highest quality digital products that are inclusive to all. August is based out of South Florida and enjoys local craft breweries, subpar cover bands and the great outdoors.

In 2025, August was selected for Destinations International’s Young Professional Leadership Development Program, recognized alongside the association’s 30 Under 30 class.

Favorite Travel Memory

Celebrating Christmas in Switzerland while backpacking Europe with my childhood best friend. We stayed in Verbier, which is a small village in the Swiss Alps. We celebrated Christmas Day by consuming our body weight in fondue and watching "Love Actually" on repeat.

David is responsible for the systems and process used to create and host our digital products. When not deep in the digital realm, he spends time with his wife and two kids (whenever they are home from college!). He combines baseball and travel as much as possible — if he's in your city and there is baseball game happening, you'll definitely find him at the park!

Walking through EPCOT at closing time — an almost empty park with just our family but still all lit up for Christmas. Magical!

Dana’s work combines creative and data-driven thinking to implement well-rounded media plans for our clients. When she's not cooking up the next best campaign strategy, you'll likely find her enjoying all that her hometown of Denver has to offer with her husband and two dogs, Kermit and Cookie.

I've been on the Miles/Brand USA team since day one, working with partners in a territory that stretches from Washington, D.C. to the Northern Mariana Islands. I dive deep into every destination I represent because I love to learn about food, drinks, and activities wherever I go. My wife and I recently opened a restaurant and cottages in the lovely hamlet of Union, Washington, in 2023.

Favorite Travel Memory

In South America, 1995 (pre-cellphone era), we took a flight to La Paz, Bolivia, with $10K and no plans. We knew Machu Picchu and Patagonia were musts but had no fixed schedule. Since there was no work, our only obligations were occasional calls and postcards to friends and family. It was total freedom; we explored off-the-beaten paths and lived spontaneously.

After spending years in the CVB and DMO world, Courtney now uses her tourism-marketing experience to create content for a variety of Miles' clients. Based in Atlanta, she spends her free time exploring the Southeast either hiking mountains or visiting beaches with her golden retriever Boone.

I will never forget hiking my first 14er with my brother. Mount Yale holds a special place in my heart!

With a decade of marketing and project management experience, Jesi is a key member of the digital product team. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, exploring the latest foodie spots and going on adventures with her wife and son.

When I was 14, my family traveled to Italy and we met my brother's "Italian family" from his exchange year. One evening, despite the language barrier, his Italian sister and I danced ballet together on the roof of our villa under the stars, sharing the universal language of dance.

A Georgia native who called Maryland, South Dakota, Utah and Colorado home before settling in Kentucky, Kelly conducts a symphony of technology and creativity, fusing innovation with stewardship and sustainability. Alongside her partner Greg, two pups and grown kids, her passions include voyages to new destinations, culinary creation, gardening and live concerts.

Bali's vivid hues and beaming faces welcomed us, emanating happiness and forging instant connections. My children, away from electronics, reveled in local culture, embracing community and togetherness. Beneath banana trees, our guide plucked some for us. This spontaneous act epitomized the trip — authentic, unscripted and full of simple joys.

Nadja is part of our Operations team, where she serves as an internal strategist, consultant and implementer on a variety of initiatives. She lives in Miami and loves to spend her free time trying new restaurants, exploring the local arts scene and taking her rescue pup Ziba on adventures. When she's not doing that, she's eagerly planning new trips here and abroad for her and her boyfriend.

Tiffany thrives on developing big-picture content strategies and working with clients to increase the performance of their digital content, but she also loves straight copy editing. When she isn’t absentmindedly proofreading everything she sees, Tiffany is probably reading, watching college football or daydreaming about Disney World.

Descending an unsteady ladder into dark, cool cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde National Park.

Melissa has been creating, recreating and maintaining a diverse range of website projects at Miles now for 23-plus years and has expertise in web platforms and languages, server environments and database programming. She works remotely, making her home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with her husband and two children.

As co-founder and creative director of AtlasObscura.com, Dylan grew the company into an international travel brand. Co-author of three New York Times bestselling books and creator of the number one travel podcast in the US, Dylan is also a big nerd and dad of two based in the Hudson Valley.

I loved visiting the Queshuachaca, also known as the Last Incan Bridge, a rope bride re-woven from grass every year since the Incan empire. Both a cultural and engineering marvel! 

Mattie is an account director who uses her organizational skills to ensure deadlines are met and clients are happy. When she's not slinging ads, she can usually be found exploring everything Colorado has to offer. She loves all things outdoors, including fly fishing, skiing and hiking with her dog.

Exploring Belize with my husband! We journeyed around multiple islands via golf cart, caught bonefish, swam with sharks and ventured deep into ancient caves to explore Mayan ritual sites.

With over 15 years of content expertise, Jason drives Places.Travel, the consumer-facing travel hub for Odyssey Studios. Known for pushing boundaries, he thrives on launching innovative content programs, from leading the charge with Apple Maps Guides to spearheading a new travel podcast. When not crafting compelling content, Jason hangs out with his trio of chihuahuas—Gizmo, Astro and Nemo—who keep him on his toes!

With 20-plus years of content marketing experience and 30-plus countries visited (so far), Erin heads up our corporate communications and helps steward the Miles brand across channels. Together with our marketing and communications team, she works to positively influence and increase our key stakeholders’ awareness of the company.

I have a new favorite travel memory with every trip! One recent memorable experience was glamping overnight in the Sahara desert and then waking up to a sunrise camel ride into the dunes.

As part of the hospitality division, Haylea's days consist of optimizing and managing online profiles such as Google, TripAdvisor, Yelp, Bing, Yext and local CVBs. When not updating profiles, you can find her outdoors hiking, biking, reading, playing pickleball or scoping out new things to do.

Traveling with my best friend is a favorite memory. Keeping in touch as adults is tough, and getting together one-on-one for a girls trip is a rarity I will always cherish.

Peter is based in Sarasota. Peter has experience in the world of innovation in New York City where he produced global projects for a range of clients. Happy to have left winters behind, you can find him in the sun searching for shark teeth and tending to his backyard mango trees.

Favorite Travel Memory

Taking my father on a tour of Southeast Asia when he had never left the U.S. before. Highlights were a river cruise from the northern border of Thailand through Laos, drinking egg coffee and eating pho in Vietnam, and volunteering for a week at Elephant Nature Park outside of Chaing Mai Thailand.

Angela is a content manager on the hospitality team who leverages SEO and storytelling to build narratives that resonate, inspire and drive results for clients. Outside of work, she is a foodie who loves exploring new restaurants, getting lost in a good book, puppy yoga and all things event planning.

Staying in a hotel right next to the Eiffel Tower and getting to see it every time I stepped outside!

Layne brings storytelling to data, translating media performance and insights into strategies that move client goals forward. Outside of work, she’s exploring the Adirondack Mountains, traveling to visit friends and family and relaxing at home with her cat, Minna.

In managing Brand USA and VISIT FLORIDA (Vacation Guide) across the entire state, I apply a marketing/customer service approach with partners to drive revenue for the client and for Miles, while positively affecting destination awareness and visitation. An avid college sports fan, you can hear Irish swear quite a bit when discussing his alma mater, the University of Florida.

I have favorite travel memories from everywhere I visited.

With 15-plus years of travel-industry experience, Susan has demonstrated expertise in digital marketing and connecting media- and owned-channel strategy with broader marketing goals. When not working, she is further developing her status as a breakfast-taco aficionado and is lobbying for breakfast tacos to be considered their own food group.

Visiting different Mayan villages by boat around Lake Atitlán (a lake inside a massive volcanic crater) in Guatemala.

Beginning as an editorial assistant in 1999, David now oversees all aspects of services at Miles, from strategic planning to revenue. When not in the office or on the road, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and kids, sweating in Bikram yoga and dreaming of a better golf game.

Janet is a content strategist whose focus is on concepting and creating content for clients such as St. Pete/Clearwater, Virginia Beach, Fort Myers and Miami. Her favorite vacations are in wild places where you can hear the wind and the birds, and her hobbies in St. Pete include gardening (yardening?), singing in a community chorus and obsessing about paint colors.

Favorite Travel Memory

One of my favorite travel memories is hiking in the El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico with my husband Tim and our intrepid guide, Juan. At points, we were ankle-deep in red mud. But we also had a refreshing swim in a beautiful natural pool underneath a waterfall and ate fresh mangos off a banana leaf while perched on a rock.

As a graphic designer for the new-business-development team, Laurie solves the puzzle of pairing content with imagery to create effective proposals and also assists with various marketing projects. Laurie's free time is filled with family, friends, good food, reading and travel.

Favorite Travel Memory

My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary with a two-week trip to Italy and Switzerland. Historic sites, cultural experiences and navigating planes, trains and unfamiliar places without killing each other was exhilarating. Can't wait for the next trip!
