"Passionate, collaborative and creative are three words I'd use to describe Miles."

Isa is part of our Louisiana team and handles all things social media. As a content manager, she travels all over the Bayou State in search of the best things for visitors to experience. During her off time, you can find Isa at a coffee shop planning her next trip or learning a new cocktail recipe.

Favorite Travel Memory

One of my recent favorite travel memories was during a work trip! The Louisiana team went to California for the 2023 Rose Parade, and on one of our off days, a few of us drove to Malibu and sat on the rocky shore as the sun reflected off of the waves of El Matador Beach. In fact, it was the very first sunset of the year and is one of my all-time favorite views thus far.

"My favorite thing about working at Miles is being constantly surrounded by people who are smart, ambitious and fun. Our greatest strength is the relationships we've built. Three words to describe Miles: Dynamic, Curious, Insiders.
"

I've been on the Miles/Brand USA team since day one, working with partners in a territory that stretches from Washington, D.C. to the Northern Mariana Islands. I dive deep into every destination I represent because I love to learn about food, drinks, and activities wherever I go. My wife and I recently opened a restaurant and cottages in the lovely hamlet of Union, Washington, in 2023.

Favorite Travel Memory

In South America, 1995 (pre-cellphone era), we took a flight to La Paz, Bolivia, with $10K and no plans. We knew Machu Picchu and Patagonia were musts but had no fixed schedule. Since there was no work, our only obligations were occasional calls and postcards to friends and family. It was total freedom; we explored off-the-beaten paths and lived spontaneously.

Emily has spent much of her career in the hospitality and tourism industry and cannot imagine doing anything else. She loves supporting the people who make travel experiences possible. When she's not working, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, Jesse, son Henry, and their dog Poppy. Living near Glacier National Park means plenty of time outside.

Favorite Travel Memory

One of my most special trips was bringing our son to Belize - our favorite fly fishing destination, for the first time.  From his first passport stamp to a small plane ride, cruising in a golf cart, splashing in the ocean, it felt like experiencing a place we love all over again through his eyes.

A proud Miles boomerang, Alexis returns as Director, Operations to support operational needs across the organization, drawing on deep experience with Brand USA and destination marketing. Off the clock, you can find her painting travel memories, riding her electric bike on Fort Lauderdale's beaches or wrangling a lively household featuring two young boys.

Favorite Travel Memory

My favorite travel memory is our first international trip as a family of four, which featured ten days road tripping through southern England, from London to Cornwall to Canterbury, with two boys under four.

"Miles' greatest strength is our ability to grow and build valuable partnerships within the industry. This strength is based on the years of experience and knowledge held by our diverse team with various backgrounds."

Juan serves as an account director, supporting clients to ensure their marketing strategies resonate with travelers from all backgrounds. Personally, he thrives on learning about different cultures, meeting new people and exploring the world. An avid traveler, foodie and dog lover, in his free time he's likely exploring parks, hiking or embarking on a new adventure.

Favorite Travel Memory

One of my favorite travel memories is the time I spent two weeks in Barcelona, Spain, with my best friend. We stayed in the Catalan region, where they speak a different dialect of Spanish. Our local host showed us around the city, and we also met some other Americans who were visiting. They ended up joining us throughout the entire trip, and we made some amazing memories together.

Favorite Travel Memory

We went to the rainforest for a small hike in Puerto Rico. When we got to the stream at the bottom of the hike, it started raining. It rained and rained, but that didn't stop my 3-year-old. We went swimming in the stream while it was raining. A new experience for him and so much fun!

Favorite Travel Memory

One of my favorite travel memories is hiking in the El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico with my husband Tim and our intrepid guide, Juan. At points, we were ankle-deep in red mud. But we also had a refreshing swim in a beautiful natural pool underneath a waterfall and ate fresh mangos off a banana leaf while perched on a rock.

I got lost in an airport when I was 6. My mom told me earlier that day that if she would have named me, I would been Amanda — Mandy for short (my dad named me Lisa). A security guard found me crying and asked my name. I told him my name was Amanda, Mandy for short. It didn't take my parents long to figure out it was me, but by that time, I was happily eating an ice cream.
