Favorite Travel Memory

I was able to travel to Melbourne, Australia, to meet some of my husband's family and friends! It's such a beautiful country and I got to pet a koala; definitely worth the 19-hour flight.

Tenzin is part of our Colorado content team as a content coordinator. When she's not ferociously typing away on written content, you can find her making a mess in the kitchen trying out new recipes or reading a good romance book, with her YouTube fireplace playing in the background.

Favorite Travel Memory

Out of the few countries I’ve traveled to so far, Ireland has stolen my heart as my number one travel memory. Everything about it was amazing – the lively culture, hearty meals, friendly community and stunning views. It holds so much history, and I will never forget how it made me feel.

With nearly 20 years of experience building teams in the travel industry at both Tripadvisor and Sojern, Richard uses his skills and expertise to lead sales efforts for the DMO and Brand USA sales teams. When he's not selling, Richard enjoys traveling, wine, sports and music. Richard’s family lives in Boston, MA. 

Favorite Travel Memory

Our family trip to Aruba. We spent seven incredible days connecting as a family, and it was one of those trips you never want to end. Every aspect of Aruba completely blew me away. 

As part of the hospitality division, Susi is a master orchestrator who seamlessly brings together creative directors, designers, copywriters and clients. When she is not overseeing the production workflow from concept to delivery, she's planning a trip with her husband Peter to a music festival or winery, or to visit their three daughters who live in three different states.

Favorite Travel Memory

My daughter Meagan took me on an epic adventure searching for Tom Jones in Cardiff, Wales. Too much fun. (Never found Tom.)

Nadja is part of our Operations team, where she serves as an internal strategist, consultant and implementer on a variety of initiatives. She lives in Miami and loves to spend her free time trying new restaurants, exploring the local arts scene and taking her rescue pup Ziba on adventures. When she's not doing that, she's eagerly planning new trips here and abroad for her and her boyfriend.

Cynthia works with the sales operations team as an advertising and data manager on the Fairfax, Louisiana, Memphis, Nebraska, New Orleans and VISIT FLORIDA accounts. When not socializing with her family and friends, she is most likely traveling on a transatlantic or Caribbean cruise.

Isa is part of our Louisiana team and handles all things social media. As a content manager, she travels all over the Bayou State in search of the best things for visitors to experience. During her off time, you can find Isa at a coffee shop planning her next trip or learning a new cocktail recipe.

Favorite Travel Memory

One of my recent favorite travel memories was during a work trip! The Louisiana team went to California for the 2023 Rose Parade, and on one of our off days, a few of us drove to Malibu and sat on the rocky shore as the sun reflected off of the waves of El Matador Beach. In fact, it was the very first sunset of the year and is one of my all-time favorite views thus far.

Mary is a content manager who works with destinations all across the country, from northern California to the Midwest. Off the clock, you can find her at the gym or in a yoga class, reading the next book on her TBR list or listening to live local music at her favorite watering hole.

Favorite Travel Memory

During a trip with my boyfriend to Laguna Beach, we went on a whale-watching tour. While we didn't come across any whales, we did find ourselves amid a mega-pod of dolphins. We were literally surrounded by thousands of dolphins for over an hour. Something I'll never forget!

Introducing Dennis, director of destination partnership development and your go-to for all things destination collaboration. Proudly based in Brooklyn, he spearheads remarkable campaigns for Destination DC. Dennis' passion for food takes him on flavorful journeys, whether he's exploring Maine's coastline or savoring European cuisines with his husband and kid. Their next stop? The exciting land of Japan.

Favorite Travel Memory

At Acadia National Park in Maine, my 3-year-old daughter's energy and infectious spirit led us on a hike. Her enthusiasm was a force of nature itself, reminding my husband and me of the joy of the outdoors. At the summit, surrounded by stunning vistas, her curiosity intertwined with the beauty of nature etched a heartwarming memory of family and exploration.

Carrie is a curiosity-fueled content director based in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley. After hours, you’ll find her researching history projects, hoarding obscure hot sauces, attending film festivals and tennis tournaments, or dreaming up her next trip.

Favorite Travel Memory

I stayed at a small inn on a sheep farm in the Scottish highlands that sat at the convergence of two lochs. On the long road in was a cemetery that housed the grave of Rob Roy. The cozy scotch bar had just two seats. A quintessential Scottish experience.

Mari brings with her more than 20 years of experience working with Tahiti Tourisme. Her natural ability to be organized led her to specialize in event planning. She has traveled to The Islands of Tahiti nearly 30 times and has been fortunate to have visited 16 of the 118 islands. Mari works remotely from Huntington Beach, California, and enjoys taking her dog, Poé, to the beach and going to yoga.

Lauren is a passionate, collaborative and creative marketing leader with 20-plus years of experience developing and executing strategic, integrated marketing communications programs. When she's not strategizing with clients and her amazing team, you will find her traveling, biking and enjoying time with her family.

I have favorite travel memories from each and every trip so it's really difficult to choose just one. My first vacation memory in Bermuda as a five-year-old is very special to me, and it launched my passion for travel.

Enriqueta is a dedicated project manager who works on a variety of projects from visitor guides to websites. In her free time, you can find her crafting, watching movies or playing with her dalmatian Ollie.

Having my first white Christmas in Knoxville in 2020: I made snow angels, threw snowballs, ate white snow and sledded down a hill!

Ileana manages a diverse client set that includes the U.S. Virgin Islands, Chicago and Myrtle Beach. She manages a team that makes her look good through their tireless management of brand, media, digital and website accounts. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling (big surprise!), reading, writing and spending lots of time with her family.

Pushing my two-year-old son's stroller through Venice, Italy. (2 out of 5 recommend. Muscles required!)

As Miles’ associate media director, Christine oversees the media department’s strategy and planning. She works alongside destinations such as Maine, Alaska and Sarasota County. When Christine isn’t geeking-out on media trends and technology, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, lake adventures, traveling and cuddling with her dog JoJo.

Favorite Travel Memory

Traveling to Kauai two years ago combined my love of the beaches and water with my love of the mountains and hiking — so much so that we're going back again!

Meghan has spent more than half her life with Miles (she must have started when she was 12!), working on the creative side and then diving into database application and integration. She leads our software-development programs and facilitates our email-marketing programs. Offline, Meghan enjoys anything island-y and relaxing.

Favorite Travel Memory

Too many to choose from, but a particular childhood favorite is my family (mom, dad, sister and me) from Cleveland randomly bumping into my aunt, uncle and cousins from Connecticut in Kitty Hawk, NC. We got to see the sights and spend some quality cousin time!

Andie joins the hospitality team, bringing a diverse professional background spanning SEO, public relations and marketing. When she’s not strategizing, she is likely on a hike, concocting a new pasta sauce recipe or cuddled up reading a book with her corgi, Eloise.

Favorite Travel Memory

One of my closest friends of nearly a decade is from Manchester, England, and there is nothing I love more than going for a walk or having a coffee in a new little town with her, friends and family. I love to travel to destinations I've never seen, but traveling to see friends in comforting places warms the soul.

Jodi was bitten by the travel bug at 14 when she spent a summer traveling across the U.S. with 40 other teens. With a background in magazine publishing and content marketing, she’s also a self-professed cruise nerd. When she’s not editing, writing or content creating, you can find her in Pilates, walking her dog and enjoying South Florida life.

A Denver-based account director who has been at Miles since 2019, Ben thrives at solving complex problems and has a knack for providing practical solutions while maintaining an upbeat attitude. He fills his spare time fly fishing, skiing, going to concerts and spending time with his fiancé and two Australian shepherds, Bindi and Woodford.

Favorite Travel Memory

As an avid fly fisherman, trips to the backwaters of Florida, winding rivers of Montana or camping trips to freestone rivers in Colorado are always top of mind.

As digital project coordinator for the Brand USA team, Cory supports Optimized Audience Campaigns and ensures all projects are delivered on time and on budget. Originally from Colorado but now based in Houston, he enjoys traveling, enhancing his guitar chops, staying active, watching/winning on game shows and exploring new food and beverage establishments with his wife, Rachel and dog, Roma.

Favorite Travel Memory

My favorite travel memory is taking a train from Seattle to LA for a taping of The Price is Right, winning an all-inclusive trip to Puerto Vallarta, and then proposing to my wife on said trip.

With 15-plus years of travel-industry experience, Susan has demonstrated expertise in digital marketing and connecting media- and owned-channel strategy with broader marketing goals. When not working, she is further developing her status as a breakfast-taco aficionado and is lobbying for breakfast tacos to be considered their own food group.

Favorite Travel Memory

Visiting different Mayan villages by boat around Lake Atitlán (a lake inside a massive volcanic crater) in Guatemala.

Beginning as an editorial assistant in 1999, David now oversees all aspects of services at Miles, from strategic planning to revenue. When not in the office or on the road, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and kids, sweating in Bikram yoga and dreaming of a better golf game.

Ally is a Denver transplant originally from Sarasota. She is a detail-oriented member of the account services team who loves working alongside her teammates to problem-solve and execute projects of all sizes for her clients. When not in the office, you can find her at hot yoga, adventuring in the mountains and discovering new restaurants.

Favorite Travel Memory

My favorite travel memory is rafting the Grand Canyon. As a former guide, I was given the opportunity to take a private trip with some friends. Any vacation without cell service is my kind of trip.

Luke is an account coordinator and works mainly with St. Pete/Clearwater. His attention to detail and ability to multitask helps the team deliver exceptional value to each client. Outside of work, he can be found throwing the ball for his dog Fisher, cooking spicy food or biking with his wife.

Favorite Travel Memory

A favorite travel memory is getting to travel to Germany with my dad in 2014. We were able to travel by train and visit Munich, Stuttgart, Berlin, Frankfurt and many other small towns. The highlight of the trip was getting to go to a football (soccer) match and experience the amazing atmosphere.

Kelly handles all aspects of print procurement and circulation management, as it relates to all print projects for the company. Outside of work you will find Kelly off visit Family spread out all over the US and Ireland always including a visit to the local art museum.

Favorite Travel Memory

A shared taxi ride from Dublin to Belfast gave me an opportunity hear from the taxi driver and a local woman sharing their perspectives on the Northern Irish troubles. She shared a song and the story of the American Choctaw Indians helping the Irish, which I did not know.

Rachel leads the growth strategy for Destination Wayfinder, helping tourism organizations strengthen destination stewardship. When she’s not advising DMOs, she’s kayaking near her home in Durango, Colorado, cooking global cuisine or exploring her next destination—45 countries and counting!

Favorite Travel Memory

At 14, I visited the small remote island of Nosy Komba, Madagascar, seeing lemurs up close, wandering its beaches and meeting the welcoming locals. That adventure sparked my love for travel and passion for ecotourism, showing me the magic of exploring new places while honoring nature and culture.

Michael works as a content manager on the hospitality team. When he's not capturing magic with words, you might find him searching San Diego for new coffee shops. Once he's caffeinated, Michael enjoys building his music collection, heading to the beach, watching reality TV and writing for his blog.

I love a relaxing vacation, but meeting a dolphin in the Bahamas is definitely a standout moment.

Sam guides the content strategies and initiatives within the hospitality division while also ensuring the delivery of impactful content to clients. When she’s not crafting travel stories, you’ll find her adventuring in the mountains, creating a more sustainable lifestyle or daydreaming about her next travel destination.

Favorite Travel Memory

From sampling new dishes at the Tiong Bahru Market during golden hour to stumbling upon a neighborhood restaurant and indulging in a late-night dinner consisting of traditional chili crab, exploring the food scene in Singapore is one of my top travel memories.
