Favorite Travel Memory

Being in the travel industry, work has taken me places I've never thought I'd visit. However, there's nothing like traveling with your loved ones — the memories created and cultures uncovered together seem that much more special, and there isn't a better travel memory I've had better than spending a week in Jamaica after my wedding in 2019.

A Virginia native who landed in the Phoenix desert, she’s a natural wine enthusiast and crafter who spends weekends at the farmers market, treasure-hunting at antique shops or traveling to catch her favorite bands live.

Favorite Travel Memory

Australia is my favorite place — fittingly, the name “Kylie” is an Indigenous word for 'boomerang!”  On my last trip, a random Substack message to my favorite winemaker/writer led to an intimate afternoon at her Adelaide Hills vineyard; we walked the vines, cooked lunch in her kitchen and sipped natural wine right from the source.

Favorite Travel Memory

I was chaperoning high-school musicians on a European music tour. Our first night in Switzerland, I stopped by one of the girls’ rooms. My knock on the door was met enthusiastically by a girl declaring their room had a “washing machine” in it and insisted I come see it. I discovered they were “washing” their clothes in the bidet! What could I say? I suggested they keep it a secret or else they would have to do everyone’s laundry on the trip.

When she's not optimizing clients’ marketing strategies, you'll likely find her at the gym deadlifting far too much weight or spending time with her husband and two sons, Colt & Hudson.

Favorite Travel Memory

While on my first trip to Denver, I thought it would be a great idea to go take a drive through the Rockies. However, we got deeply lost in the middle of the mountains and with more snow than I even thought was possible. We ended up getting stuck in a ditch and a group of Jeeps (with no air in their tire mind you) had to rescue us. Luckily, we lived to tell the tale.
