As a former CVB marketing director with nearly 30 years in the tourism industry (including work at Yellowstone National Park and a cruise ship), Carly’s passion for travel marketing has inspired successful campaigns for Miles' partners for more than 15 years. In between travels, Carly can be found exploring her home in the New River Gorge of West Virginia.

Favorite Travel Memory

I took a train to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe — Europe's highest railway station, which is located at 11,333 feet in the Swiss Alps. The panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains and glaciers was breathtaking!

Laura's focus is on developing growth plans for clients and our teams. She is based in Denver and you can often find her cheering on the Denver Nuggets, reading another mystery novel or enjoying mac and cheese.

I was chaperoning high-school musicians on a European music tour. Our first night in Switzerland, I stopped by one of the girls’ rooms. My knock on the door was met enthusiastically by a girl declaring their room had a “washing machine” in it and insisted I come see it. I discovered they were “washing” their clothes in the bidet! What could I say? I suggested they keep it a secret or else they would have to do everyone’s laundry on the trip.

Enriqueta is a dedicated project manager who works on a variety of projects from visitor guides to websites. In her free time, you can find her crafting, watching movies or playing with her dalmatian Ollie.

Having my first white Christmas in Knoxville in 2020: I made snow angels, threw snowballs, ate white snow and sledded down a hill!

Melissa has been creating, recreating and maintaining a diverse range of website projects at Miles now for 23-plus years and has expertise in web platforms and languages, server environments and database programming. She works remotely, making her home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with her husband and two children.

Hannah manages a content team in our DMO division, supporting content creation and strategy for more than 20 clients. When she's not digging into analytics or raiding the thesaurus for other ways to say "experience," she's listening to narrative podcasts or forcing an unwilling party to talk about the 2023 NBA Champion Denver Nuggets.

Favorite Travel Memory

After weeks in Budapest, my husband I thought we'd seen all there was to see. On our last full day, we stumbled upon a park with network of trails switchbacking up and down to city and river overlooks, monuments and statues. Each time we emerged from a forested patch, there was something new to surprise us — characteristic of the serendipitous nature of travel.

Jason is happiest when he sees partners get results from a successful program. A father of two and a former sports journalist, Jason is also a stand-up comedy nerd who loves to sing. When he’s not playing softball or wiffleball, he’s dreaming up a return trip to Chicago or trek to the mountains of Montana.

The trip I just took to the Pacific Northwest with my girlfriend, hitting Portland, Seattle, Idaho and Montana. Amazing food and even better scenery.

Kathy has over a decade's worth of experience in email marketing—driving engagement, optimizing campaign performance and increasing ROI through strategic automation and segmentation. When she is not working, her family of five enjoys fishing, boating, traveling and being outdoors.

My favorite travel memory was horseback riding in Aruba on the beach and through the landscaping! Beautiful and inspiring scenes. 

Justin is the director of strategy and insights at Miles, ensuring that website activity is being properly measured, while also working to improve their presence in search engines. When he's not working, he can usually be found working on home improvement projects, snowmobiling, gardening, beekeeping, playing with his dog Miles, playing hockey, and terrorizing the neighbors on his 49cc scooter - usually not all at once.

As one of Miles's art directors, Amanda is passionate about bringing brands to life through effective and engaging creative. Outside of moving pixels around and meeting with clients, she also loves visiting new places, going out to eat at unique restaurants and hoop dancing down St. Charles in Mardi Gras parades.

On the northern coast of Washington, the beach was unlike any other place I've been. A massive rocky formation slowly appeared before my eyes as I strolled the beach through the thickest fog I've ever experienced. It was like walking on an alien planet.

Lauren works on some of our largest DMO and hospitality accounts to traffic, optimize and report on each campaign from start to finish. When she's not digging into reporting and trafficking campaigns, you can find her behind the lens of her camera or spending time with her husband and son.

Alex is an account manager in the hospitality division, helping to make clients' visions a reality. When not managing client requests and projects, he's traveling and looking for new experiences with his wife Amanda or playing with their dogs. Whether its exploring local food-and-drink scenes or reading a good book, he is always excited to see the world from a new perspective.

My favorite travel memories are when we end up getting lost in a very unfamiliar places. They are always the most stressful times in traveling, but they make for great memories that have stood the test of time.

As the performance director for the hospitality division, Nancy utilizes data, research and collaboration to develop and implement owned and paid strategies and plans that drive results. When she is not diving into analytics and spreadsheets, she can be found enjoying the best of Colorado — live music, great outdoors, craft beer and making memories with friends and family.

Traveling to Italy with 40 of my closest friends!

Nicole is well known for her detail-oriented approach and metric-driven mindset, which she leverages to create strategized, impactful media plans for her clients. Outside of her professional efforts, she enjoys indulging in her creative side through LEGO-building, crafting and cooking—hobbies that reflect her dual passion for creativity and precision.

Though it started with an unexpected 26-hour airport layover, and almost missing the ship, it would have to be Greece island-hopping.

Colombia-born and raised, Pablo’s journey transitioned from fine art to design, driven by its transformative potential, unifying influence and guiding essence. On the Brand USA team, he applies these convictions to multiplatform products that spotlight the U.S. worldwide. Outside work, he is either hiking trails or chasing winter on a snowboard along with his wife and son.

A trip to Glacier National Park in Montana during early spring became my catalyst for embracing outdoor adventures and cold weather as a lifestyle. The sight of melting snowcaps nourishing swift-flowing rivers and the reawakening wildlife left a lasting impression of our interdependence on this planet.

Based in Baton Rouge, Vito applies his 25-plus years of marketing, advertising and account management experience to foster success among his clients. A fan of LSU and the Saints, he knows tailgating and shares his fall football weekends with his wife and two sons.

Seeing the New Orleans Saints play in London! Although we lost, it was still an awesome experience.

Jackie is an account director with 15-plus years of ad-agency and client-side experience who is passionate about serving Miles' clients. Off the clock, she’s busy collecting passport stamps (20 countries and counting!), nose deep in a book, hiking peaks, setting up camp or on a relentless quest for the best ramen.

Favorite Travel Memory

Hiking to an active Icelandic volcano stands out as a top travel memory. Being there with about 100 or so people and sharing the collective experience during every eruption was something I'll never forget.

With 8-plus years of DMO marketing experience, Andrew is committed to providing value to clients and their stakeholders. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son and pup. In the fall, he is a disciple of the three Fs — family, friends and football.

Being in the travel industry, work has taken me places I've never thought I'd visit. However, there's nothing like traveling with your loved ones — the memories created and cultures uncovered together seem that much more special, and there isn't a better travel memory I've had better than spending a week in Jamaica after my wedding in 2019.

David creates and automates reporting, troubleshoots data problems and maintains our internal budget/forecast planning tools. He has a degree in Physics from University of Colorado but never worked in that field—unless you count his home brewing of craft beers—and is equally at home on the beach or the ski slopes.

Najauna plays a central role at Miles, developing targeted, experiential marketing strategies that resonate with the right audiences for significant impact. She leads initiatives focused on learning and development, strategic partnerships and community engagement, cultivating a welcoming and collaborative internal culture. This approach enables her team to deeply understand our clients’ needs, enhancing our ability to craft compelling storytelling and achieve their goals. Outside of work, Najauna enjoys dancing and laughing in her kitchen, pretending to host a cooking show for her husband, kids and dog. #ApplausePlease

Favorite Travel Memory

On the walk to try paella for the first time in Barcelona, we experienced a music light show, a food-truck festival, and a street art and dance show. I was so immersed in the happenings that I stopped to dance, drink, take tons of photos and ALMOST forgot how hungry I was. The first bite of paella and the restaurant's hospitality made every bit of the trek worth it.

Annika is a member of our SEM/Social Team, working with various clients to enhance their organic social media content. Originally from Upstate New York, she now calls Denver, CO her home. In her free time, Annika enjoys skiing, running, mountain biking, backpacking and attending numerous concerts. She loves adventuring with friends and exploring new restaurants in town, always capturing her experiences through her photography.

Favorite Travel Memory

I spent my entire junior year of college abroad, studying in Bangkok, Thailand during the fall, and in Lyon, France in the spring. I loved every second of it! However, my favorite adventure was visiting the remote province of Ha Giang in Northern Vietnam. The mountainous terrain was breathtaking, and it was so much fun to connect with the locals at the homestays in the villages we passed through.

Jodi was bitten by the travel bug at 14 when she spent a summer traveling across the U.S. with 40 other teens. With a background in magazine publishing and content marketing, she’s also a self-professed cruise nerd. When she’s not editing, writing or content creating, you can find her in Pilates, walking her dog and enjoying South Florida life.

Yasaman works with stakeholders to blend design and technology sensibilities with strategic insights, an ability that has been honed over her previous career as an architect, where human-centric design principles were second nature. Having already explored 32 states, she's on a mission to explore more of the country's natural and cultural wonders.

Melissa leads the company's consulting practice focused on developing inclusive marketing strategies that broaden audience reach and create meaningful connections with travelers from all backgrounds. She works with clients to implement tailored approaches that foster authentic connections and expand reach across the travel and tourism industry. Melissa resides just outside of Atlanta, has a deep passion for the arts and loves to cook.

Sarah, a member of the Business Analyst team, resides and works amidst the Colorado mountains with her husband. An adoring mother to her two adult children in Denver, she finds joy in river rafting, skiing and exploring international destinations.

This past fall, my husband and I traveled to Munich, Germany for Oktoberfest. We dressed the part in lederhosen and dirndl and had the time of our lives!

Meet Felipe, a dynamic art director whose passions span horizons (literally). He crafts visual stories both professionally as a digital artist and through his photography side hustle. An explorer by nature, find him hiking Red Rocks and paddleboarding Bear Creek Lake on the weekends. Evenings? They're for unwinding with videogames, homemade food and a Gatorade.

My favorite travel memory has to be backpacking through Europe for a couple of months. This was my biggest solo trip, where I got to go through Spain, Germany, Italy, Austria and Italy. I met so many people and ate so much good food, but most importantly learned how big the world can be outside of the U.S.
