My favorite travel memory was taking my son, who was three at the time, to Kauai and watching him fall in love with a new environment and try new things every day. His excitement to learn and see the world brought a whole new passion for my love for travel.

Najauna is a part of our DEI team, where her focus is to lead the internal development of DEI and facilitate a culture of inclusion and belonging overall. Favorite Travel Memory

On the walk to try paella for the first time in Barcelona, we experienced a music light show, a food-truck festival, and a street art and dance show. I was so immersed in the happenings that I stopped to dance, drink, take tons of photos and ALMOST forgot how hungry I was. The first bite of paella and the restaurant's hospitality made every bit of the trek worth it.

Missy is the video production manager for Brand USA. By day, she is making sure all the ah-mazing video projects are set up for success. By early freaking morning, she is on the water rowing with her teammates to prepare for the next USRowing Masters National Championships.

Favorite Travel Memory

My husband and I thought it would be easy to climb the 250-foot dune at the beach in Pacific City, Oregon. Expert travel tip: It was not. But when we got to the top, we saw a whale jumping out of the water. It became one of my favorite travel memories. Nearby, we took a ton of selfies at Haystack Rock, which was featured in "The Goonies."

Nicole's past experience in destination and tourism makes her a great fit as our Associate Media Planner. When she's not strategizing plans, she can be found at her local Pilates studio or with her husband and their cat, Poe.

My favorite travel memory is visiting Paris with my family. I'll never forget walking through the underground catacombs and seeing the Eiffel Tower light up at night!

Alex is Odyssey Studios’ platform manager, handling linear channel scheduling and maintenance for Brand USA’s GoUSATV — file transfers, app updates and other technical sorcery. When not chained to his desk, you can usually find in him roaming the various Disney theme parks, traveling the world and taking pictures, or chained to his other desk making illustrations.

Favorite Travel Memory

In Hawaiʻi, while trying to navigate rocks at a lagoon entrance so I could swim in the Pacific for the first time, a sea turtle appeared, swam over near me and vanished underwater. His wake showed a path through the rocks to a safe, secluded place to swim as if the entire island was mine.

A Denver-based account director who has been at Miles since 2019, Ben thrives at solving complex problems and has a knack for providing practical solutions while maintaining an upbeat attitude. He fills his spare time fly fishing, skiing, going to concerts and spending time with his fiancé and two Australian shepherds, Bindi and Woodford.

As an avid fly fisherman, trips to the backwaters of Florida, winding rivers of Montana or camping trips to freestone rivers in Colorado are always top of mind.

Andraya monitors and manages the production of print products from start to finish for Brand USA, SEE, and many DMO clients. When she is not juggling print tasks, this animal lover and cooking enthusiast can usually be found event or vacation planning, helping others, spending quality time with loved ones, or making memories with her husband, son, cat, and two dogs.

My favorite travel memory is anytime I explore this big world with my husband and son. Those adventures and experiences together being fully present are priceless.

As an account director, Sam connects the dots between content, creative and paid-media strategy. Originally hired as an editor at Miles in 2005, she is a crack proofer and published author who manages a content team and still volunteers to write copy from time to time. Outside of work, you'll find her running or mountain biking the trails surrounding her home in San Diego.

Finding the elusive "poet's table" after a rock-scrambling, meandering hike through Custer State Park during a FAM tour with our South Dakota client!

A serial entrepreneur, Ryan joined Miles in 2018 following the acquisition of his studio, Odyssey. With more than 20 years of digital, experiential and content-marketing experience, he oversees a portfolio of client accounts, as well as our creative and studio functions. He is an author and nationally recognized public speaker on tourism, strategy, consumer behavior, destination marketing and digital advertising.

Climbing 4,000 feet into the clouds at Huayna Picchu, Peru.

Kiki is a seasoned professional based in the greater New Orleans area who's known for creating exceptionally effective ad campaigns for members of New Orleans and Company. She's a foodie and travel lover who enjoys exploring the city's vibrant restaurant scene, attending local festivals, and supporting the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers.

My favorite travel memory is climbing up the steps in the rare snow at Blarney Castle to kiss the Blarney Stone. Before my grandmother, Anita Kelly Mannear, passed away, she said that her one regret in life was not kissing the stone while in Ireland. I was honored to kiss the stone on her behalf.

Isa is part of our Louisiana team and handles all things social media. As a content manager, she travels all over the Bayou State in search of the best things for visitors to experience. During her off time, you can find Isa at a coffee shop planning her next trip or learning a new cocktail recipe.

Favorite Travel Memory

One of my recent favorite travel memories was during a work trip! The Louisiana team went to California for the 2023 Rose Parade, and on one of our off days, a few of us drove to Malibu and sat on the rocky shore as the sun reflected off of the waves of El Matador Beach. In fact, it was the very first sunset of the year and is one of my all-time favorite views thus far.

Craig leads the web developers on the client web support team. With 15-plus years of experience in web development and 9-plus years at Miles, he takes coding challenges head on. You'll always find him traveling with his family, whether it's a staycation in Colorado or visiting extended family.

A Colorado native, Andrea has over 25 years of experience working with DMOs and tourism-related businesses big and small to create an impactful presence with print and digital solutions. She loves anything outdoors, experiencing other countries and cultures, and finding the next best beach and margarita.

Unexpectedly one late October, within 4 hours, I booked a flight, packed my swimsuit, flip flops and sunscreen, and was on a plane to the San Juan Islands, only to find out I was going to the islands off Washington during its rainy season, not the sunny beach in Puerto Rico.

Jose is a member of the Human Resources department, where the team’s focus is the committed support of the entire Miles community. Jose enjoys the human relations aspect of his role and engaging with every team member on an individual basis. Outside of the office, Jose cherishes time with his family and spends Sundays rooting for the Denver Broncos.

Road trips to San Benito, TX with my father. (It's why I choose to fly now!)

David is responsible for the systems and process used to create and host our digital products. When not deep in the digital realm, he spends time with his wife and two kids (whenever they are home from college!). He combines baseball and travel as much as possible — if he's in your city and there is baseball game happening, you'll definitely find him at the park!

Walking through EPCOT at closing time — an almost empty park with just our family but still all lit up for Christmas. Magical!

A native New Mexican with a stereotypical love of green chile, Haley finally crossed the border for good into Colorado to make it her home. She has found a passion for business and billing, despite her background in biology. When she’s not sifting through vendor invoices, she can be found coaching dance for the local high school, hiking and mountain biking.

My absolute favorite memory is going to Ireland for my birthday in 2019 right before the last season of "Game of Thrones" came out. We went to filming sites for Winterfell and met a couple of the dire wolves used for the show.

Devin is part of the creative team and supports a range of client accounts including San Francisco Travel Association, Colorado Tourism Office and Sonoma County to name a few. A Colorado native, his passion for techno and house music has led him to DJ across the country at many festivals and events. Outside of work, he spends most of his time with his wife and toddler.

I spent time in Trinidad and Tobago during Carnival. I was pretty young and exposed to so many new experiences, cultures, foods and music. It was an amazing trip that I will never forget.

As part of the Brand USA team, Angie thrives on strategizing and creating engaging international marketing plans for partners in the Southeast region. When she’s not traveling, she’s outside gardening, working on a home-improvement project, hiking in the Pacific Northwest or enjoying live music. She cohabitates with her two lovely cats, Barry and Nelly, outside of Seattle.

Favorite Travel Memory

In the Dutch countryside, we visited a dairy farm famous for its Gouda. We met the farmer, cows and the cheesemakers, who demonstrated the process from fresh milk to the final product. We also toured iconic windmills. Going inside a working windmill, it was super interesting to observe the mechanics, living quarters, and how they control the flooding and waterways.

Stephanie is a member of the destination optimization team, where she mostly gathers and analyzes data to help local businesses, as well as other tasks involving spreadsheets or the occasional VBA macro. Outside of work, she enjoys tabletop RPGs, indie video games, sewing and piano.

I spent an entire day walking around Stanley Park in Vancouver. It was magical to know that we were in a major city but still felt like we were in the middle of deep woods.

As a content manager in the hospitality division, Courtney's mind is always whirring with catch phrases, social captions and SEO keywords. If you can't find her, she's likely adding to her vocabulary with her nose in a book, chasing a ball around a soccer field or embarking on a high-altitude adventure in the Montana mountains.

Introducing Dennis: Your go-to travel media sales and marketing executive. Proudly based in Brooklyn, he spearheads remarkable campaigns for Destination DC. Dennis' passion for food takes him on flavorful journeys, whether he's exploring Maine's coastline or savoring European cuisines with his husband and kid. Their next stop? The exciting land of Japan.

At Acadia National Park in Maine, my 3-year-old daughter's energy and infectious spirit led us on a hike. Her enthusiasm was a force of nature itself, reminding my husband and me of the joy of the outdoors. At the summit, surrounded by stunning vistas, her curiosity intertwined with the beauty of nature etched a heartwarming memory of family and exploration.

George is part of our Brand USA team and handles all things accounting. When he’s not crunching numbers, the lifetime Parrothead and avid FSU fan can be found tinkering with mechanics, enjoying his growing family, and planning his next trip — which always includes a coastline he has not visited.

Having grown up all over the world as the child of a resort general manager, Ursula has been in hospitality her entire life, including 30 years in resort marketing before starting the hospitality division at Miles. She was recently named to the HSMAI Top 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Sales and Marketing.

Seeing the world by living in and traveling to more than 60 countries while learning and experiencing a variety of cultures through the people I met and lived near.

Debbie works with our client services team supporting DMOs and their teams across the country. She's the mom to three adult children and loves hiking, music, watching football and, of course, traveling.

My favorite, outside of those with my family, would be in Brussels one December during their holiday markets. I spent every night in the square for hours just listening to music and watching the lights and people — it was magical!

Mary is a content manager who works with destinations all across the country, from northern California to the Midwest. Off the clock, you can find her at the gym or in a yoga class, reading the next book on her TBR list or listening to live local music at her favorite watering hole.

During a trip with my boyfriend to Laguna Beach, we went on a whale-watching tour. While we didn't come across any whales, we did find ourselves amid a mega-pod of dolphins. We were literally surrounded by thousands of dolphins for over an hour. Something I'll never forget!

Pat’s job is to travel the beautiful state of Colorado and sell awesome media packages that perform off the charts — something he doesn’t think is actually work. When he’s not “working,” he’s hanging out with family, looking for tickets to his next Red Rocks show or bopping down the river somewhere in a pink or green kayak, depending on the water level.

It was a day full of walking, shopping and bonding with friends old and new in Portland, Oregon, and it ended with a visit to the Lan Su Chinese Garden. The memory of its beauty, the peace and the company I had with me bring a smile to my heart and I'd repeat the day without a second thought.
